Welcome to Season 6 of the Better Learning Podcast! Our third episode in the Season features Dr. Kirk Henwood, the new School Superintendent of the Walsh School District located in southeast Colorado.
Meet Our Guest:
Dr. Kirk Henwood is passionate about public school education and the opportunity it provides to all children. His professional mission is to fulfill the promise of public education in rural Colorado public education through creating effective schools, and effective school leadership in order to provide high quality learning opportunities for students. His experiences in working in small rural school districts have given him a broad set of skills to fulfill this mission, including valuing relationships, expertise in quality instructional practices, deep experience in human resources, and educational law, all of which he leverages in order to better meet the needs of students and their learning.
