Dr. Brian McCraw, Ed.D. joins Kay-Twelve as an Education Market Leader! Dr. McCraw previously spent over 17 years in public education and also has over 12 years of experience as a corporate executive with three different Fortune 500 companies in various leadership positions, including human resources, talent acquisition and development, public relations, fiscal management, and corporate real estate ventures. Dr. McCraw also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Educational Leadership at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Dr. McCraw has spent his personal and professional life in the pursuit of creating and promoting positive learning environments for all stakeholders through a variety of leadership roles including as a classroom teacher, coach, campus principal, and Superintendent.

Dr. McCraw is focused on creating and facilitating systems that focus on student engagement through positive relationships and the design of meaningful learning experiences. As the child of a public-school educator, Dr. McCraw holds true to the belief that public schools are the foundation of our constitutional republic and that it is our responsibility to look beyond state test scores to the talents, hopes, and dreams of every child. At Kay-Twelve, we can help to seek new and innovative ways to serve the needs of all children.

Dr. McCraw received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and his Master’s in Education from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Dr. McCraw is a member of the Texas Association of School Administrators, the Texas Association of Rural Schools, the Texas Association of Community Schools, the Texas Association of School Boards, and the Texas Council of Professors of Educational Administration.

He and his wife, Lisa, have four children: their daughter Sidney, who is a graduate of Texas State University and a practicing Respiratory Therapist, Kelsey, a graduate of Texas A&M University who is employed with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Brett, a graduate of Texas A&M University who is working on his Ph.D. at The University of North Texas, and Ryan, who is currently a senior at Texas State.
